embedded windows xp, dos, unix or linux. Compact flash cards are available up to 2 gigabytes in size. Prices keep

Using our IDE to Compact Flash adapter, with a Compact Flash card as a solid state bootable disk drive, provides a highly reliable
bootable program and data storage device. Compact Flash can provide a robust, low current, low operating temperature, and highly
reliable storage solution for your embedded PC or application.
There are no required drivers or support software required for our Compact Flash to IDE adapter.You can set it with the jumper
for master/slave/select, just like any IDE hard drive.
The IDE and power connectors are the same as standard hard drives.

Our compact flash to IDE adapter makes it easy to install compact flash technology into your system. The aluminum
bracket is finished in computer beige with 2 led pipes,(one for power and one for activity). It mounts into any floppy drive
bay. There are 2 mounting positions on the bracket so if you want to mount the compact flash card permenantly so the card
cannnot be taken out of the computer by the user, simply mount the compact flash to IDE adapter in the rear position and
install the compact flash slot cover supplied with the kit.

You can now install the Compact Flash to IDE adapter into a 5.25 CD-ROM drive bay.
